       These special items are not official Sleepy Eye items but are some of the items that I have that were inspired by authentic Old Sleepy Eye.
       The pitcher is self explanatory. It’s a favorite part of my collection, as I had lived in Joliet for 58 years.
       The two teepees were painted by my friend in Dwight, Illinois. It was inspired by the OSE postcard.

       The wood carving of Sleepy Eye was carved by another friend about 30 years ago.
        The Sleepy Eye flour sack is a metal coin bank that was painted by the same friend that painted the teepees.
          The framed head of Sleepy Eye was purchased when I attended the centennial in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota.
